Dr. Marianne Trevorrow, ND, MA

Dr. Marianne Trevorrow graduated from the naturopathic medicine program at Seattle's Bastyr University in 2006. Her training included 2 years of basic medical sciences, plus 3 additional years of clinical rotations in preventative and primary care medicine. After completing post-graduate work in Nutrition and Anti-Aging Medicine at Bastyr University in 2007, she has been practicing naturopathic medicine in BC.

Dr. Marianne's interest in naturopathic medicine began after her son was diagnosed with both asthma and ADHD and given medications that had considerable side effects. As a parent, she challenged herself to find solutions that would help her son grow up healthy without long-term prescription medications. This interest eventually led to her decision to pursue studies at Bastyr University, the most prestigious naturopathic school in North America.

Dr. Marianne believes that the key to successful health and well being is to combine the best of both alternative and conventional medicine for her patients. She presents frequently to Vancouver Island groups on issues such as autism, ADHD, asthma and allergies, women's health and nutrition, and mental health. She has also written articles on these issues that have been published by several general interest publications.

Dr. Marianne has been a Defeat Autism Now! Practitioner since 2006, and has worked with over 100 Vancouver Island families to help their children recover from autism and ADHD. She is also a member of the BC and Canadian Naturopathic Associations.
